Information entered into calculators

DealProof's calculations run in your browser. The site does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit vehicle descriptions, prices, loan figures, trade values, or other calculator inputs to DealProof or Google Analytics.

Local browser storage

The main calculator uses browser local storage to remember a draft and up to three saved comparisons on that device. The site also uses browser caching and a service worker so core pages can load more reliably or offline. Clearing site data in your browser removes those locally stored items.

Shared deal links

When you use the share feature, calculator values are placed in the shared page's URL. Anyone who receives that URL can see those values. The URL may also be processed by the messaging service, browser, network, or hosting provider used to open it. Do not enter names, account numbers, VINs, or other sensitive personal information in the optional vehicle-description field.

Hosting and security logs

The infrastructure that delivers the site may process routine technical information—such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, requested pages, and security events—to operate and protect the service. DealProof does not currently provide user accounts or combine those logs with calculator inputs for advertising profiles.

Cookies and analytics

DealProof uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, approximate location, browser and device information, traffic sources, scrolling, and link interactions. Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers and receive routine technical information, but DealProof does not intentionally send calculator-field values, names, account numbers, or VINs. Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in DealProof's analytics configuration. Browser privacy settings or content blockers may limit this collection.

Advertising

DealProof does not currently display personalized advertising. If advertising or additional consent tools are added, this policy and any required controls will be updated before those features are enabled.

External and partner links

Links to government resources and any future partner sites open services with their own privacy practices. DealProof does not control those sites. Partner links, if enabled, may include a referral identifier so a conversion can be attributed.

Children

DealProof is a general vehicle-shopping resource and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly request children's personal information.

Policy changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after a change means the updated policy applies to later use.
